Calligraphy is one of the major art forms in China. Jacqueline Zhu holds a particular fondness for ancient Chinese art: calligraphy and painting. Having inherited this tradition from her family, she has practiced calligraphy since childhood. Through unceasing study and a rich accumulation of knowledge across various cultural fields, she has become an accomplished Chinese calligrapher. Chinese calligraphy flourished during the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD). By mastering and expressing its artistic skills, Chinese calligraphers use it to convey their moral character, spirit, and philosophical thoughts. Ultimately, ancient Chinese culture and art have become the solid foundation and source of Jacqueline Zhu’s artistic thought and creation.
